Toddlers are strong on their feet, independent and curious. They
thrive on new experiences and need a safe environment that supports their cognitive and physical development.
Our Chattering Chipmunks (23 months to 35 months) participate in structured activities that are
designed to encourage the development of their fine and gross motor skills, listening skills, speaking
skills, and hand-eye coordination. As your child reaches twenty-four months, they will begin to verbally
express their thoughts and gain independence. We spark your two year olds’ sense of discovery through
activities like reading books aloud, nursery rhymes and songs to expand your child's language skills.
Additional
activities include arts and crafts, recognizing shapes and colors, role playing in dramatic play and
practicing self-help skills like toilet training and dressing them selves.
We maintain a child to staff ratio of 7:1 for our Chattering
Chipmunks, which is essential in providing a safe, nurturing environment for growing
toddlers.
